Camps & Indoor Residentials on Dartmoor in Devon for Schools and Youth Groups

Our residential centre offers camping, cabin and indoor accommodation and facilities for children and young people from schools, Scouts, Guides, youth groups, charities and clubs, with exclusive use of our large safe and secure site. The perfect place to enjoy outdoor activities on Dartmoor!

For each of the following accommodation options, you can choose to be entirely self-led, or buy in a bespoke activity programme and/or catering.

Our indoor facilities include …

  • Bunkhouse – the bunkhouse provides indoor sleeping facilities for up to 38 individuals with varying sized dorms 
  • Toilets & showers – separate facilities are available for boys, girls and leaders
  • Cooking facilities – a fully equipped kitchen is available
  • Dining room & hall – these additional indoor facilities are also available
  • Turner Hall – our original and oldest building offering indoor family and small group accommodation, also an accessible building for wheelchair users
  • Outdoor spaces – use of the woodland, your own fire pit, swimming pool, activity areas and of course Dartmoor itself
  • Accessibility – a wheelchair friendly bedroom and washroom facilities are available and all our buildings have easy access too

Our camping facilities include …

  • Camping field – with space for up to 55 campers
  • Kitchen facilities – you’ll have access to a well equipped kitchen
  • Toilets & showers – male and female available
  • Dining room & hall – these indoor facilities are also available to campers
  • Activity field – so that your group can make the most of nature
  • Fire pit, BBQ & swimming pool – available for you to use during your stay

Our cabin facilities include …

  • Cabin facilities – 5 cabins in total
    • 4 with 8 bunks in each (32 in total)
    • 1 with a partition wall perfect for group leaders to have separate space
  • Camping-like Experience with a Touch of Comfort – no electricity and lighting, but beds with a proper mattress, and dry!
  • Kitchen facilities – you’ll have access to a well equipped kitchen
  • Toilets & showers – male and female available
  • Dining room & hall – these indoor facilities are also available to cabin users
  • Activity field – so that your group can make the most of nature
  • Fire pit, BBQ & swimming pool – available for you to use during your stay

Turner Hall

Turner Hall is our original and oldest building, offering indoor family and small group accommodation. On-site activities are also available.
